"All Around Nice Guy"
As I was perusing the local Half Price Books store on Thursday afternoon, I stumbled upon a business card placed nonchalantly atop a table display of assorted software. I was intrigued by the large, whimsical font boldly proclaiming “All Around Nice Guy.” I picked up the card and began to wonder about its origin. Who was this guy named Bruce? Did he make a lot of contacts through distribution of these homemade business cards? What was his objective? Was this some sort of social science experiment, or a legitimate approach to meeting new people? Did he recently place this card at the bookstore, or did the card find its way there through some unknown journey?
I decided to send the “All Around Nice Guy” an email to learn more about this card:
SUBJECT: All Around Nice Guy — I found your card!
Dear Bruce,
I found your “All Around Nice Guy” card the other day at the bookstore — can you tell me about it?
Just Curious,
Jennifer
I am now awaiting a response from Bruce. Will this “All Around Nice Guy” respond to my inquiry? I’ll keep you posted.
