Be Transformed

The butterfly is an ancient symbol of rebirth and transformation. They begin their lives as grubby little caterpillars, devouring as much plant material as they can; their only focus spent on growing fat. Then they form a chrysalis, rest, and morph into a beautiful creature that flutters on the breeze, sipping sweet nectar from flowers.

The miracle of God is that he loves us even though we’re still selfish little grubs. He molds and shapes us, preparing us for our transformation into his beautiful creatures.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2 (ESV)
